What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Standard Event Rentals?
Standard Event Rentals is a family-owned business offering party-equipment rentals for weddings, corporate events, and other special events. The Accounts Payable Clerk will primarily handle data entry duties of payables, will report directly to the AP manager, and work out of the Richmond office.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Accounts Payable
- Receive, code and enter invoices into the accounting system
- Reconcile and Maintain vendor accounts
- Communicate with vendors regarding any issues or inquires
- Process weekly check run and issue manual checks as needed
- Assist with requests from fellow members of the accounting team as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Detail Oriented and able to complete processing data accurately
- Strong time management skills
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of accounting software
- Intermediate Excel skills required
- SAGE 300/AccPac experience is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, work under pressure of deadlines and communicate in a professional manner
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced office
Job Type: Full-time(Temporary)
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
