Position Summary:
The General Manager position will have total P&L responsibility for Standard Event Rentals including full accountability for Sales, Operations, and all initiatives/programs driving the growth of the business while controlling costs and improving profit margins. This position requires mentoring, developing and nurturing a positive culture while ensuring the highest levels of quality, professionalism, and care for our employees and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive revenue and market share through the development and implementation of a marketing plan, implementing and managing sales strategies to include targeted strategic account acquisition, and marketing communication plans
Establish clear goals and expectations for all team members and hold them accountable; team members include Operations Manager, Dispatch Manager, Inventory Manager, Sales Team, Project Manager, Warehouse Manager, and logistics team
Work with team members to establish, implement and track KPI’s for daily operations in order to meet customer and company goals. Areas for KPI establishment such as onsite customer service, routing, delivery/installation protocol, warehouse performance metrics.
Execute high quality end-to-end client service, continuously working to improve customer service levels throughout the sales, fulfillment, and reconciliation process
Establish relationships with large clients, scope out large events/venues, manage client relationships, and ensure successful execution of events
Manage all financial aspects for the location: P&L, capital expenditures, forecasting & budgeting
- Implementing and maintaining operational standards and procedures
Hire, develop, manage and lead managers and sales team
Employee relations- Annual review, corrective actions Etc.
- *Work with Human Resources to ensure company compliance in all policies and
procedure
Maximize inventory utilization and processes
Monitor labor and assess staffing levels throughout the year based on business
needs and seasonality.
Manage accounting/administrative functions, including AR/collections, AP, billing
Analyzing sales data and identifying opportunities for revenue growth and market
gains.
Leading and motivating the team to achieve goals
Creating a positive work environment for all staff
Leading weekly Sales/Ops meetings
Attend networking events in various central valley markets.
Participate in bi-weekly financial meetings with ownership
Experience Required:
Demonstrated track record of achievement managing a P&L, meeting budgets, and
overseeing Sales team and Operations Staff
Must have excellent results-oriented management skills, multi-tasking and time
management capabilities, exceptional team leadership abilities, and a strong work ethic
10 years of management experience in service-oriented operations with at least 100employees
5 years Sales Management, team leadership and development
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to execute Sales goals and increase location revenue
Bachelor's Degree required
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
