Job Description : The EH&S Technician II report to Quality Assurance / EHS Manager. Supports the business unit at the front lines with the implementation of EH&S procedures.
- Must be familiar with OSHA Maritime Industry requirements for safety and hot work onboard naval vessels.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position requires 40 hours of work per week. M-F 0600 - 1430 (or as otherwise assigned by QA Manager) with pre-scheduled overtime as needed.
Work Environment : This job operates in an office and also a shipyard work environment.
Travel : This position does require ability to travel.
Physical Qualifications
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physical demands for this position are light to moderate. This position requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires the ability to walk over uneven surfaces and occasionally climb ladders and other ship elements. Must be available to work at heights, confined spaces and have ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes. May involve carrying objects that weigh up to 50 lbs., frequent stooping, bending, crawling, reaching, and walking.
