Job Title: S&R Lift Operator Trainee
FLSA Status: Hourly
Department: S&R Dept.
SUMMARY: Picks raw material and scans to production order and delivers to de-box area. This requires an understanding of inventory report, as well as communication with Operations on which products are being run daily. Also, assists in receiving inbound loads, picking up from dock and locating into inventory. This position will require a self-motivated person who will take the initiative in keeping up with the needs of production and to make sure the inventories are remaining accurate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep up with the needs of Production
- Maintain inventory, discuss discrepancies with the department supervisor
- Assist in period end inventory count.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary and organized work environment
- Assist in other areas as assigned by the department supervisor.
Receiving (Inbounds):
- If time allows, assist with scanning inbound product as it is delivered. Make sure all pallets are scanned properly and counts of orders are correct
- Communicate with supervisor & clerk regarding counts of inbound loads
OTHER DUTIES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Displays responsibility for being punctual and achieves appropriate level of attendance

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and successfully manage a rapidly changing environment
- Computer skills a plus
- Available to work weekends and overtime and/or until all work has been completed.
- Follow, interpret and apply company GMP, policies, and procedures to team members.
- Proficient in English/Bilingual skills a plus
- Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervision
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school degree or GED or a combination of education and experience
- Experience using scanning equipment and S&R equipment such as pallet jacks
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Cold Temperature: <40 F Cooler <0 F Freezer
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme cold temperature
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
