SUMMARY: The FSQA Technician I is a multiple task position and is part of a dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring Food Safety and Quality Procedures. The FSQA Technician I is responsible for following proper program procedures, verification of procedures, record keeping and documentation, and corrective actions throughout the day.

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Process control of Food Safety and HACCP Systems
- Process control through verification of programs, processes, and finish goods specifications
- Maintenance of customer specifications
- Knowledgeable of USDA role and contact of onsite FSIS Inspector
- USDA (MT) Sampling
- Pre-Operational Microbial Sampling
- New Hire GMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense Orientation
- Raw Material Audits and Verification of Supplier Specifications
- Verification of packaging, pack dates, and product codes
- Responsible for monitoring and enforcing all Good Manufacturing Practices
- Reporting violations and non-conformances to the FSQA Manager or FSQA Supervisor
- Responsible for completing reports and finishing tasks assigned by the FSQA Manager or FSQA Supervisor
- Must be flexible to working overtime and weekends
- Other duties as assigned.
- 6 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and must be able to communicate with all personnel.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills.
