Job Title: Repak Operator
FLSA Status: Hourly
Department: Operations
SUMMARY: Repak Operator sets up and operates the Repak machine including assembly and disassembly of the equipment. Responsible for the overall operation, feeding product, adjusting settings, checks and inspects operation and performing minor repairs. Recognizes equipment and product problems and notifies supervisor. Operators support the development of health, safety, and environmental protection programs.

Essential Duties And Reponsibilities
- Be on the workstation ready to work and on time.
- Remove tarps from the Repak’s.
- Place mats in designated areas.
- Always assure trash bags on trash cans.
- Set up and program Repak equipment.
- Set up bell mark date.
- Set up Matrix Labeler
- Wipe off any water on machinery.
- Sort through leftover product from day before
- Change forming molds and film as needed.
- Check any rejections.
- Perform routine inspections (packages, equipment, and bell mark date)
- Provide all necessary supplies to employees.
- Provide proper training to employees in their area.
- Produce special labels and pack orders.
- Use safety blades properly.
- Follow the safety procedures (LOTO)
- Must be able to distinguish and troubleshoot a general machine malfunction and know when Maintenance needs to be notified.
- Report equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Knowledge of customer specification.
- Ability to prepare machine for Sanitation.
- Work weekends and flexible hours as required.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with GMP and safety policies.
- Maintain an uncluttered and neat work area, remove all waste and trash out of the production area through assigned shift.
