The Internet BDC Director will oversee the Business Development Center (BDC) operations across multiple rooftops. Responsibilities include managing online sales inquiries, developing strategies to boost online sales, overseeing the internet lead response team, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :Lead and manage the BDC team and internet lead response team across multiple locationsDevelop and implement internet sales strategiesRespond to online inquiries promptlyTrain and coach BDC staffAnalyze and report on performance metricsEnsure guest retention and profitability by planning, organizing, and controlling Internet Sales department activitiesMeasure the performance of Internet Sales staffEssential Job Functions :Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor performance of Internet Sales representativesDirect and schedule activities of sales representatives, ensuring proper staffingCollaborate with the management team to forecast goals and objectives for Internet Sales staffSet objectives for the Sales Department as directed by the sales management teamAddress guest concerns promptly and fairlyCommunicate dealership policies and procedures to Internet Sales staffGuide Internet Sales staff in setting short and long-term objectivesMonitor response rate on leads and develop improvement programsConduct regular training meetings and provide resources for Internet Sales staffEnsure proper follow-up procedures are maintainedMeet with sales management team regarding objectives and performance analysisPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications :Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive BDC internet department managementProven track record of successCapable of running a team of 15 people or moreExperience in taking a deal through the entire sales cycleBilingual in Spanish preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent with one year experience / training in automotive salesAbility to coordinate activities, oversee work, and perform corrective actions and appraisalsAbility to work extended hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekendsStrong communication skills in English (Spanish preferred)Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and ability to pass MVR, drug, and background checksProficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, DealertrackDMS, and Auto AlertPhysical Demands :Ability to work in a sitting position for extended periodsManual dexterity for data entryAbility to bend, pull, stoop, and reachExposure to heat, fumes, noise, and humidityEffective oral and written communicationVisual acuity to read documents and screensAbility to lift items over 50 poundsWhat We Offer :Guaranteed compensation plus commissionSupportive staff and teamAdvancement opportunities401k with matching contributionPaid time off and holidaysMedical (HMO), dental (PPO & HMO), visionCompany partner discountsBusy service drive and experienced leadershipEqual Opportunity Employer :Honda of North Hollywood and Acura of Los Angeles Westside do not discriminate against applicants based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, or disability.
