What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Driver - Sheetmetal position at Standard Plumbing and Heating Co.?
Located in our Canton, OH facility and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Driver will be responsible for delivery and pick up of materials to and from job locations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Use of material handling equipment
- Manual handling of materials
- Use of company vehicles for pick-up and delivery of materials and parts to various job sites
- Staging and prepping of materials in the warehouse - proper labeling, placement of materials, etc.
- Process of paperwork when appropriate
- Inventory tracking and accountability
- Warehouse duties such as pulling materials, putting away materials, tracking of materials, maintaining clean work areas, etc.
- Assist with year-end physical inventory
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) - required
- Experience 2-3 years warehouse experience - required
- Strong attention to detail - required
- Strong communication skills - required
- Strong organizational skills - required
- Ability to bend, lift (up to 70 lbs.), twist, stand and / or sit for extended periods of time
- Clean driving record - required
- Ability to operate in both a warehouse and field environment including in extreme weather conditions
