Position Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will play a role in aligning HR practices with the overall business objectives of Standard Process. This position will collaborate closely with leaders and managers to provide HR support, drive employee engagement and foster a positive work culture. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication and relationship building skills to become a trusted and respected partner and coach.

8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, or as job responsibilities require
Essential Functions
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters
- Formulate partnerships across the business to deliver value-added HR service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of Standard Process
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, conflict resolution and performance management
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations and recommend appropriate actions in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Ensures all proper documentation is completed
- Collaborate with managers to develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and development plans
- Lead the performance management process and ensure that it aligns with the talent management strategy
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance related matters
- Partner with HR subject matter experts to provide support in the areas of benefits, compensation, talent management and wellness
- Partner with talent management to provide input on workforce planning, talent reviews and succession planning processes
- Develop, update and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal guidelines
- Champions employee engagement and employee experience initiatives
- Provide guidance and support on employment law matters, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.
- Responsible for the separation process including exit interviews, employment documents, payroll coordination and meetings as employees transition out of the company
- Guide leaders in support of company culture, values and employee engagement
- Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, insights and metrics that inform decision making
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed
- Helps drive the execution of periodic analysis of ongoing HR processes and programs, such as performance reviews, HR audits and recognitions programs
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretations
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field required
Certifications:
- SHRM-CP certification preferred
Experience:
- 5 years of experience
- Experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations
- Experience with employee relations
- Experience building and maintaining a positive relationship between HR and the company
- Experience working with legal counsel and compliance professionals
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other state or federal laws
