Description
Standard Sand & Silica is looking for motivated individual's that are seeking an opportunity to work with a team of skilled professional to satisfy our customers demands. The Plant Operator role will require multiple skills sets, such as:
- Operating wheel loaders, off-road forklifts and other machinery.
- The plant operator MUST be able to operate all equipment/ machinery in a safe and effective manner.
- Operators must be willing to fill customer orders quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to meet quality control standards
- Provide assistance to and report to Plant manager with information regarding equipment and customer order status
- Maintaining a clean workspace
Requirements
- MUST be able to work well with others as a team
- Complete tasks given to you by the plant manager
- Observe and follow all safety principles and practices
- Dedication to working when scheduled
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.
- MUST be able to pass a drug screening
Experience preferred but not required:
- Experience in the mining industry
