Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, update, and release corporate SOPs and standards.
- Track industry standards and oversee design reviews.
- Identify and correct quality issues across construction and operation groups.
- Define and monitor quality management systems.
- Improve system design throughout lifecycle, from design and construction to operation and maintenance.
- Ensure designs meet stakeholder needs.
- Promote quality and continuous improvement throughout organization.
- Manage and improve Design Review Process with internal & external engineers.
- Manage the quality process through the construction phase.
- Develop & maintain the supplier & components qualification process.
- Provide input and approval for Operational & Maintenance Plans for the facilities.
- Translate comment logs and lessons learned into quality action plans.
- Integrate AI-assisted controls within design review and field inspection processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- Strong technical experience within solar industry.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of engineering software and systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects/programs.
- Excellent interpersonal ability, including strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and organizational follow-up skills.
- Understanding and working familiarity with current AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel software versions, as well as MS Office suite.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in a quality-related position in an engineering / construction environment.
- Functional knowledge of Engineering & Construction processes.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system standards.
