The Construction Management Project Manager at Standard Engineering Field Services, LLC will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects.
- Experience with construction management software (AWP or similar).
- ODOT Material Sampling Certification
- Experience in inspection, testing & quality control fields, and interpretation of Transportaion Construction Plans
Responsibilities:
- Inspects, reviews, or provides oversight for contractors, consultants or utility relocations associated with construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and contracts for highway construction activities. Prepares progressive and final estimates for construction contractors. Prepares all documentation required for audit.
- Answering contractor questions
- This level may provide guidance to Inspectors, including the coordination and monitoring of work performed by contractors or vendors.
- Prepare project DWR's, Diaries, and Estimates and Input sample records.
Skills:
Along with strong project management abilities. Required skills for this role include concrete, asphalt, soils, and aggregate testing and inspection. Reinforcing and structural steel inspection. Nuclear density testing. Effective communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and team members. Problem-solving skills will be critical in addressing challenges that arise during construction, allowing for quick and effective resolutions. Additionally, knowledge of construction practices and safety regulations will be applied daily to maintain compliance and ensure a safe working environment.
