The Sewing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated sewing equipment on the 2nd shift.

The Sewing Maintenance Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining automated sewing equipment on the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities Include
- Monitor machine operation, including wear & tear of moving parts
- Troubleshoot and repair all equipment as necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and other support functions
- Give operating instructions to operators based on observations
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Document safety, quality, and maintenance information
- Ensuring that safety and quality is compliant with company policy
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with industrial sewing equipment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions
- Basic math skills
- Lifting (light & heavy – up to 75 lbs.).
- Manual dexterity of both hands and feet to perform activities such as carrying (light & heavy), pushing (light & heavy), heavy pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, standing, crawling, reaching, handling while wearing proper PPE.
- Seeing (acuity far, acuity near, depth perception, field of vision, accommodation, color vision).
- Reading, writing, counting, measuring.
- Work in heat and cold environment.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Working in Confined Spaces.
