The E-Commerce Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategic planning, design, and execution of digital transformation initiatives within the organization, with a focus on enhancing B2B e-commerce capabilities. Key Responsibilities Include
- Identify opportunities for leveraging digital technologies to drive innovation, enhance e-commerce capabilities, and gain a competitive advantage.
- Conduct end-to-end journey mapping to understand customer sticking points and identify strategies to overcome them.
- Support the development and management of a customer experience roadmap related to digital products and e-commerce strategies, ensuring alignment with user experience, return on investment, and key business outcomes.
- Define and facilitate alignment on KPIs, monitor product performance metrics, and guide teams in advanced data analysis to inform strategic product decisions.
- Design and architect digital solutions that enhance business processes, improve customer experiences, and streamline online transactions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate digital tools, platforms, and technologies to meet organizational needs and market demands.
- Own testing of new web applications and experiences ensuring alignment with customer and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with IT leads to lead / manage the integration of digital systems with existing enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, PIM, e-commerce platforms), ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across all digital platforms.
- Develop and manage a digital product team, fostering a high-performing team environment and promoting knowledge sharing between technical and business teams.
- Utilize agile and/or hybrid agile methodologies to manage conflicting priorities and ensure proper project sequencing.
- Analyze and optimize e-commerce processes through the implementation of digital tools and automation, streamlining workflows to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with departments such as IT, Finance and Marketing to drive digital initiatives, facilitating communication and alignment to ensure cohesive execution of digital projects.
- Monitor the performance and impact of digital transformation and e-commerce initiatives, ensuring system availability, responsiveness, user engagement, and conversion.
- Design digital solutions that enhance the customer journey, personalization, and engagement, utilizing customer feedback to inform digital transformation strategies and initiatives.
- Manage relationships with digital tools and technology vendors, overseeing implementations, and ensuring vendor deliverables align with project goals.
- Adapt processes and scale the digital and e-commerce infrastructure to meet evolving business needs, integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance data management, customer experiences, and online sales.
- Stay abreast of emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in digital product management, e-commerce, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives (B2B experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital tools, and technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM, PIM, CMS, and analytics tools).
- Experience implementing a Commerce Platform and building a next-generation B2B commerce experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Agile and/or Hybrid Agile methodologies, with experience managing digital product backlogs and iterative project execution.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and ability to collaborate with designers to create customer-centric solutions.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and propose innovative digital solutions.
- Experience defining and monitoring KPIs for digital products, using advanced data analytics to inform decision-making.
- Expertise in journey mapping and identifying customer pain points to enhance user experience.
- Experience building and leading cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration between IT, Marketing, Finance, and other departments.
- Ability to manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee contract deliverables.
- Demonstrated success in optimizing e-commerce and digital processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Knowledge of automation tools and their application in streamlining workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in creating and presenting roadmaps, business cases, and performance reports.
- Ability to adapt digital strategies and solutions to meet evolving business needs and market trends.
