The Product Manager will work closely with Product Managers by leading the development and execution of product strategies. They will support the needs of the business by working with cross-functional teams, specifically R&D, Marketing, Sourcing and Sales, to develop products that will help the business defend core product lines, grow sales with new customers and/or markets, and expand presence within existing accounts/markets. They play a key role in the product development process, leading stock line development projects for assigned categories.

Key Responsibilities Include
Product Development
- Lead development of new products based on the product strategy for assigned categories.
- Lead coordination of new product launches, including new product sampling to external sales team, price guides, product training and marketing materials.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of product development, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
- Other projects as assigned.
- Leverage data, market insights & competitive intelligence to inform product roadmap, decisions and strategies.
- Use knowledge of customer needs and preferences to ensure that product information is relevant and engaging.
- Develop & execute strategies for managing and distributing product information effectively across different platforms and channels.
- Work closely with Business Operations (pricing) team to recommend pricing strategies.
- In conjunction with Sales and Business teams, make product selections per account / marketplace
- Ensure product assortment meets the needs of customers and is competitive in the market. Identify gaps.
- Support sales team through creation of customer-specific materials, product playbooks & competitive battlecards.
- Create and maintain digital product catalogs.
- Own the collection, organization, and maintenance of product data within the PIM system. This includes specifications, descriptions, images, and other relevant information.
- Identify key attributes and specs required for various digital channels. Validate content completeness within PIM
- Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of product information to prevent errors and discrepancies. Review and approve product specifications and product changes.
- Act as PIM superuser for PMG team, actively participating in PIM System Implementation, working closely with marketing, sales, and IT to ensure that product information meets the needs of all stakeholders.
- Enable or troubleshoot if there are issues with PIM loading to sites
- Review and advise on copy, images, other market assets to drive SEO for sales
- Work with Marketing to create new marketing assets as needed (FAQs, how to videos, alternate images, improved copy, etc.)
- Identify missing attributes, content, tools, images in PIM.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5 years in a product management, strategy or business development role.
- Demonstrated competencies in product management, data analysis, organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ideal candidate has experience working with large data sets, works well with minimal direction, is curious and energized by digging into data to find insights and able to translate them to solutions.
