What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Analyst position at Standard Textile?

The Quality Analyst is responsible for managing customer complaints. Duties include tracking issues, utilizing problem solving tools to identify root cause/corrective actions, trend analysis, systemic improvement initiatives and communication with sales consultants and customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct Analysis to identify systemic quality issues. Through collaboration determine corrective actions to drive implementation of improvements to reduce overall customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction
- Lead investigation of customer complaints to identify root cause and initiate effective corrective action in a resourceful & timely manner
- Engage testing lab to assist with product analysis
- Coordinate inspections/sorting activities with manufacturing facilities and distribution centers
- Coordinate implementation of permanent corrective actions through working directly with suppliers and internal manufacturing plants
- Effectively communicate with Sales & Customer Service to assure customer satisfaction with our responsiveness
- Track all customer complaints and provide regular status report updates
- Manage the Assurex system: implement configuration improvements, assist with development of new modules, maintain associate access, etc.
- Maintain all current quality standards, reports & records and distribute as needed
- Support FDA inspections/audits related to customer complaint files
KPI
- Timely investigation and closure of complaints
- Complaint Management System reporting
- Rework project tracking
Qualifications Include:
- Education: Associate degree required. B.S. in Technical related field preferred.
- Experience: 1 years Quality experience required. Prior experience in textile quality within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Skills Required: Detail oriented, organizational skills, problem solving, strong communication.
- Strong MS Excel, MS PowerPoint preferred.
- Other Requirements: Ability to travel to company locations as needed
