About This Role
The Pre-Roll Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently operating automated pre-roll machines. Key responsibilities include maintaining production standards, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety protocols.
Machines Operation
This role involves:
- Loading materials into the machine
- Operating the pre-roll machine
- Quality checking and packaging of large batches of products
- Performing minor troubleshooting, repair, and basic maintenance as instructed
Quality Control
The operator will inspect finished pre-rolls for quality, consistency, and accuracy, ensuring they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Production and Efficiency
The operator must maintain accurate production records, meet or exceed production targets and deadlines, optimize machine performance to maximize efficiency, and adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Material Handling
This includes loading and unloading raw materials into the machines, managing inventory of supplies and materials, and possessing knowledge of cannabis industry regulations (if applicable).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- BASIC computer skills
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
