As a Detail Inspector II, you’ll

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished components, subassemblies and products;
• Provide input for inspection methods and improvements related to the job;
• Assist Quality and Engineering in investigations of process related quality issues;
• Provide samples and communication to QA and Production Management concerning quality issues when required;
• Organizes work and storage areas for efficient workflow and to showcase the quality of work in the facility;
• Understanding and knowledge of the use of basic inspection tools;
• Other duties as assigned and requested in support of the position and Aero Turbine’s needs;
• Communicate effectively to team members;
• Detail oriented, able to stay on task, and self-motivated;
• Conduct internal department audits;
• Be compliant with safety procedures and policies
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with minimum 3 years of QA related experience
• Proficient in hand tools such as calipers, micrometers etc…
• Basic GD&T knowledge
• A have good planning and organizational skills
• Basic computer Skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in precision inspection and other related discipline’s
• 3 years of GD&T knowledge
• Prior Aerospace/ Defense/ MRO industry experience
  
  

Salary Range

$28.59-$42.61 per hour

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, StandardAero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
