Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency. As an NDT II Inspector , youll perform accurately and in compliance with the industry standards and regulations while being familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used. Set up and calibrate non-destructing testing equipment in accordance with the industry requirements. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection. Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results. Understands the application of the tools at hand to ensure the efficiency and quality of inspections. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Works to fully understand and implement company policies and procedures as well as organizations goals and values. Consistent attendance and punctuality in accordance with company policies. Visual acuity and color vision. Work in or near industrial hazards. Ability to train in 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift. ASNT NDT Certification, or equivalent certifiable training. Candidate must present proof of class and / or OJT training. Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections. Mechanical aptitude.
