About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Jet Mechanic to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our airframe team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and repair all airframe systems as required (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.).
- Read and interpret maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams when required.
- Analyze a variety of mechanical problems and determine the cause and best method of repair.
- Test operation and repairs/adjusts, as required: engines, engine controls and accessories, propellers and controls, landing gear, hydraulic systems and servicing, and flight controls, and adjusts rigging as required.
- Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling and pressurization systems.
- Utilize mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges and calibration test equipment.
- Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
- Use sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution.
