What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach, Assistant Volleyball Coach (Freshmen) position at Standing Bear High School?
Standing Bear High School is looking for a certified teacher and/or coach who would be responsible for the instruction of volleyball skills and techniques, team systems and strategies; responsible for providing a safe and competitive environment; developing safe and properly planned and supervised practices and contests; provides leadership; is energetic, a good communicator and able to build positive and purposeful relationships with student-athletes and their families.
Requires Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.
Responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know, implement, and enforce national, state, and local athletic policies.
This position is subject to a veterans preference.
