Full Job Description
Standing Stone Consulting is hiring Event/Security Staff for PNC Field – home of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders – for this season’s events! PNC Field hosts a variety of exciting events including baseball games, concerts, and special gatherings all summer long. Standing Stone Consulting will be filling many different roles as security and event staff for PNC Field.
Officers/Event Staff will be assigned tasks such as:
- Information Line ("Barking")
- Greeting guests as they arrive
- Informing guests of the venue’s bag policy
- Conducting pre-bag verbal screening to ensure safety compliance
- Access Control
- Primary Screening: Monitoring entry points and performing initial guest screening
- Secondary Screening: Performing additional checks for flagged guests or items
- Bag Checks: Carefully checking bags to prevent prohibited items from entering
- Egress Operations (Exit Support)
- Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor as guests leave the venue
- Ensuring no alcoholic beverages are taken outside
- Thanking guests and wishing them a safe trip home
Once on site and geared up for the day, staff will report to their direct supervisor and perform duties as assigned. Officers should be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and remain alert and responsive to emergent needs or directions.
Requirements:
- A clean background is required – background checks will be completed prior to onboarding
- Must provide tan/khaki uniform pants and black, comfortable shoes
- Red polo shirts are suggested under company-provided red outerwear (vest, poncho, or jacket)
- Must have a working smartphone for communication and clocking in/out
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Approximately 4-hour shifts
- Tuesday–Sunday throughout the summer
- Weekends as needed
