We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.
Standish Management US LLC seeks a Senior Engagement Manager in Dallas, TX. Duties: Review quarterly and annual financial statements and limited partner reports for clients, including but not limited to the review of all journal entries, capital account allocations, supporting schedules, calculations of management fees and carried interest; Review data for Capital Calls, Distributions and Allocations to investors; Supervise the audit and tax preparation process working in conjunction with clients, engagement teams, valuation firms and outside public accounting firms; Main point of contact with client to keep abreast of ongoing client activities, assisting clients in planning for capital calls, distributions, filing form ADVs and audits; Help clients manage relationships with auditors, tax managers and legal counsel; Help clients manage relationships with auditors, tax managers and legal counsel; Supervise client engagement teams to make sure client deliverables are met in a timely manner keeping in mind engagement efficiency and profitability; Recruit, train and mentor junior staff members; Assist Directors in sourcing new clients, issuing proposals and overall business development. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
Position requires a Bachelor or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Accountancy, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related field and 4 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. Must have 4 years of experience in the following skills: VC/PE fund experience or experience with a fund administrator; Previous Private Equity/VC experience with knowledge of partnership accounting; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
