Standley Batch Systems, a leading material-handling manufacturer, is searching for a Designer Drafter to join its engineering team.
Responsibilities
This position involves control of specific projects, creating drawings from samples, sketches, and other drawings using 3D modeling software in a fast- pace metal fabrication shop environment. The position will require coordination with shop foreman on project schedules and will require overtime hours when necessary to
meet specific deliveries. The position would also include dealing with shop personnel daily to ensure correct procedures are taken for an overall successful project.
Qualifications
Must be proficient in Solid Works or Solid Edge 3D Modeling software.
Preferred candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in mechanical drafting and design.
Experience in steel fabrication is a plus but not required
