Position Profile: The Standley Systems Connectivity Technician II is responsible for, but not limited to, the equipment install process from delivery to training. This position will report to the Field Connectivity Supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as on-site technician for equipment installation.
- Troubleshoot and configure advanced network settings on print and scan devices.
- Installing print drivers on Mac OS and Windows computers
- Set up SMB, SMTP and TWIAN scanning features on a variety of print and scan manufacturers
- Record events, problems and the resolution in the ticketing system
- Drive and operate Box truck with lift gate
- Operate Hand truck/dolly
- Operate mechanical pallet jack
- Maintain and clean company vehicle
- Train end users on installed hardware (groups of 1-20 attendees)
- Utilize company vehicle to deliver, load, and unload equipment
- Maintain and expand current technical knowledge by attending service training classes and meetings
- Use diagnostic tools and service aids, to assess and resolve equipment and system failures
- Advanced Assembly of accessories on Copy/Printers
- Assist end users on specific equipment requirements
- Be an active participant in team meetings
- Document resolutions and tips/tricks
- Provide feedback to management for process improvement

- Highly organized
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of digital copy machines and scanners
- Electrical and mechanical abilities
Computer Skills:
- Experience with IP addresses and installing network drivers
- Understanding of network fundamentals
- Proficient PC Skills
Experience:
- A Certification preferred
- 1 years’ experience in on-site support
Education:
- High School Diploma

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Must Able to lift 50 pounds
- Regular, predictable attendance required
- Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
