General Responsibilities
- Case manage each special education child assigned in accordance with the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) including but not limited to scheduling, attending meetings and completing required paperwork as prescribed by law.
- Create a classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth for each student.
- Assist students in developing skills, attitude and knowledge required to create a good foundation for continued education.
- Establish and maintain effective rapport with students, staff, and parents as necessary.
- Teach to current Arizona State Standards and abide by all state and federal Special Education Statutes.
