Minimum Requirements
- Age: At least 20 ½ years old
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have active NC BLET Certification OR currently be enrolled in an NC BLET program
- Physical Fitness: Ability to pass the NC POPAT (Physical Fitness Test)
- License: Valid North Carolina driver’s license

Responsibilities
- Enforce laws and maintain public order through patrolling assigned areas.
- Write detailed reports on incidents, arrests, and investigations.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
- Conduct surveillance and gather evidence for criminal investigations.
- Collaborate with community members to enhance public safety and trust.
- Operate vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations.
