The Loan Administration Specialist maintains daily workflow of the Real Estate/Member Business Lending servicing desk; ensures that all responsibilities of the desk are handled in a timely manner according to SFCU, investors, state and federal policies and regulations. Servicing functions including but not limited to: daily loan payments and payoff processing, impound account activities, customer service, etc.

Who YOU are:
- Ability to read and to interpret financial data.
- Ability to communicate, both verbal and written
- Ability to perform necessary computer related input.
- Ability to handle daily routine with moderate freedom to interpret or to act upon various situations.
- Present a positive professional image.
- Interact daily with more than one department.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to the assigned duties
- High school degree and 0-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
What YOU’LL do:
- Learn and cross-train departmental duties of the credit union.
- Track and monitor hazard and flood insurance.
- Respond to day-to-day member loan inquiries and servicing needs via multiple communication channels.
- Maintain requests for loan files to and from off-site storage.
- Conduct monthly inventory of original Notes.
- Perform specific and delegated administrative duties, as assigned by management.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
