We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Patient Care Manager in the Operating Room department.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing the unit(s) patient care operations for an assigned shift, acting on behalf of the Patient Care Manager.
- This includes supervising patient care staff and operations, ensuring consistent implementation and monitoring of organizational policies and standards of care, and developing programs to enhance patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the performance of operational aspects of a designated unit(s) while providing mentoring and leadership support to the unit(s) staff.
- Supervise the provision of quality, therapeutic, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with standards of practice, hospital protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
