Job Summary:
We are seeking a Clinic RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients identified at nutritional risk.
- Develop patient care plans including nutrition interventions and goals.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient nutrition-related outcomes.
- Assess educational needs and provide nutrition counseling.
- Communicate and influence nutrition interventions with the medical team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Dietetics (ACEND).
- One year of work experience as a clinical dietitian or completion of a strong clinically concentrated dietetic internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- RD - Registered Dietitian within 90 Days
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist within 90 Days
