Stanford Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to assume the role of Assistant Patient Care Manager in our Operating Room department.
About the Role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Patient Care Manager with clinical management and administrative coordination of designated patient care units or services.
- This includes promoting the achievement of unit goals and objectives, while working in a supportive manner as a resource for the patient care unit and as a representative for the Patient Care Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise patient care staff and operations for an assigned shift for a patient care unit(s) and/or coordinate one or more administrative functions as assigned by the Patient Care Manager.
- Ensure consistent implementation and monitoring of organizational policies and standards of care.
- Develop programs and lead process improvement projects to enhance patient care delivery.
- Establish the strategic direction and business plans for a functional group.
- Provide leadership, influence others to meet patient needs and achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
