Nurse Researcher Oncology Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Researcher Oncology to join our team at Stanford Health Care. This role will coordinate care for patients enrolled in cancer center clinical trials, collaborating with physicians, clinical research staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and protocol adherence.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate care for patients enrolled in clinical trials
* Develop and implement protocol-specific Beacon order sets in collaboration with the investigational pharmacy, nursing, and principal investigator
* Collaborate with scheduling staff to ensure future appointments are scheduled correctly and timely
* Develop and provide education to nursing staff regarding the clinical trial
Requirements
* BSN or higher-level nursing degree
* 5 years nursing experience, or 3 years in an oncology research nurse role
* Experience in clinical research, research, ICU, pediatrics, case management, or nurse navigation preferred
* Human subjects' protection and Good Clinical Practices training (can be completed after hire)
* Basis Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with hybrid schedule including 4 days onsite and 1 remote day based on clinic needs.
