As an Property Manager you are responsible for the oversight of your properties with support from a dedicated local management team. You complete your required tasks with the freedom to craft your days to fit you, while being attentive to tenants, program requirements, and property needs. Each member is expected to assume 100% responsibility for their charge and to be effective and fully engaged advocates, problem-solvers, and participants in the ever-evolving process of becoming a company of excellence.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Applicants & Tenants – Process applications, move-ins, tenant certifications, and move outs. Respond (promptly & appropriately) to tenant concerns. Process monthly rent charges and payments. (We use RealPage software)
- Property – Review property needs & plan for capital improvements. Complete regular property inspections. Oversee the maintenance staff and work order completion. Contract for large repairs and services (snow contracts, landscaping, etc.)
- Programs – Understand (or have the capacity to learn) the requirements of Rural Development Affordable Housing, Local Housing Programs (Section 8), and Maine State Housing.
- Communication & Relationships – Build strong, trusting, and meaningful relationships with co-workers (across New England), tenants, vendors, and local authorities. Being able to communicate effectively is paramount to this job – strong and clear written and oral communications skills is a must.
- Location - Your portfolio consists of properties in Clymer, PA

- Leadership Team – The leadership team reviews for program compliance, is an advocate for their employees and properties, and implement innovative progress.
