Job Description: We are looking for a Korean-English Bilingual Cafeteria Office Manager to support our operations and expansion in Korean-speaking markets. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in cafeteria management, working closely with the principal, and kitchen manager, this role includes responsibilities such as managing the Point of Sale (POS) system, updating menus, handling bills, inventory management, and ordering goods. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that the cafeteria functions efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean-speaking clients and partners.
- Translate business documents, reports, and communications between Korean and English.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase cafeteria revenue, catering, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to create promotional campaigns that highlight menu offerings, special events, and sustainability initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with campus departments, student organizations, and external partners to drive catering sales and cross-promotional opportunities.
- Manage the cafeteria’s social media presence, website content, and email marketing campaigns to engage with the campus community.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Plan and execute events, tastings, and other initiatives to showcase cafeteria offerings and attract new customers.
- Monitor and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and measurable ROI.
- Train and support cafeteria staff on upselling techniques and customer service best practices.
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns align with Stanford University’s brand guidelines and values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related role, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Creative thinker with a passion for food, sustainability, and customer engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
