Example Projects

  • From optogenetic fMRI to mechanogenetic functional ultrasound
  • Study of circuit mechanisms underlying neurological disorders including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, autism, epilepsy, empathy circuits, and behavior
  • Investigation of whole brain pathology, immune system, circuit function relations
  • Computational modeling of whole brain circuits, machine learning

Responsibilities

  • EEG signal analysis
  • fMRI data analysis
  • Statistical analysis
  • Writing scripts for analysis pipelines
  • Manuscript writing assistance
  • Literature searches of analysis methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum education required)
  • Software, engineering, signal processing, and/or IT skills
  • Experience analyzing medical images
  • Skilled in Python and Matlab
  • Knowledge of basic statistics
