SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring high-quality standards by deburring, cleaning, and inspecting precision machined parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, an eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Perform all other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from precision machined parts.
- Maintain part dimensions and surface finishes as per engineering specifications.
- Thoroughly clean parts using solvents, ultrasonic cleaning equipment, or other approved methods.
- Ensure parts meet cleanliness standards required for inspection and final assembly.
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of parts to identify defects, burrs, or irregularities.
- Document inspection results and communicate any non-conformances to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Properly handle and store parts to avoid damage.
- Wrap/pack parts in protective packaging per customer requirements for shipping.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize deburring, cleaning, and inspection processes.
Reports To: Production Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with deburring, cleaning, or inspection processes for precision parts.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor defects.
Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts effectively.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree or equivalent; technical training or experience in a machine shop environment preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting for an extended amount of time; standing, walking; bending; some lifting required.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
