The Field Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the field department's night operations during our pack season (mid-July through end of September). During the non-pack season, the Field Logistics Coordinator will be driving daily to gather samples to assist our partner growers, as well as assisting the Agronomist with research projects. We are looking for a self-motivated, problem solver who is results oriented to join our team.
This position will be primarily responsible for :
- Manage and coordinate the night harvest, trucking teams, scales, grade, inventory, etc. during the 75 days of our pack season.
- Responsible for compiling daily field reporting for the leadership team.
- Conduct "after pack" research from the direction of the Director of Field Operations as well as the Agronomist.
- Drive to fields and collect soil samples throughout the fall and winter months.
- Collect petiole samples throughout the spring.
- Assist the Agronomist with research projects.
- Perform various duties throughout the spring / early summer to aid in the start of pack.
- Walking up to 4 miles a day taking leaf and / or soil samples.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements :
Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and / or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity : 50% or more sitting, 20% or more walking, and 10% or less standing. The job is performed under temperature variations and in an office or field environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required.
