Position Overview

As Stanley’s Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will own defining and executing our technology architecture strategy. We have embarked on a significant digital transformation journey, and we need a technical advisor to drive our growth. You will take a holistic view of the company’s needs and create technology blueprints and roadmaps to ensure our systems enable our growth and long-term success. This person will be a key advisor to Stanley leaders in all functions and geographies and mentor other leaders within our technology organizations.

The Senior Director, Enterprise Architecture reports to the VP, Digital Technology and will be based in Seattle, WA.

What You'll Do

• Develop complex IT solutions making optimal use of IaaS and PaaS ecosystems
• Create and maintain enterprise blueprints and roadmaps that align with business and technology goals.
• Design technology stacks that drive business outcomes and contribute to the bottom line.
• Define and evangelize architecture standards and patterns to meet non-functional requirements across the enterprise. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various teams to collaboratively address business challenges.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, ensuring alignment between business strategies and technology implementations.
• Ensure designed solutions are reliable, efficient, and secure.
• Conduct architecture assessments and perform technology quality assurance reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams to analyze, redesign, and implement process improvements.
• Assess the impact of technology changes on business processes and provide solutions to enhance efficiency, agility, and customer satisfaction.
  
  

Who You Are

• Previous success leading significant digital business transformations, ideally in E-Commerce modernization
• Experience designing architectural strategies in hybrid or multi-tenant cloud environments.
• Proven track record of driving digital transformations integrating data science, AI/ML and business automation tools
• Experience overseeing the development and implementation of consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Skilled in the application of Agile methodologies for rapid and effective solution delivery in complex IT environments.
• Able to manage both on-shore and off-shore development teams within an agile project management framework.
• Keen sense of emerging technologies and market trends.
  
  

Education And Experience

• 15 years of progressive technology experience, including at least 3 years as an enterprise architect.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with strong exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
• Proven success deploying infrastructure and applications using CI/CD Automation on cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP or AWS.
• Expertise with multiple enterprise applications including CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP), and OMS solutions (e.g., Sterling, Blue Yonder). Prior success leading the customization of enterprise applications to align with specific business processes and requirements.
• Proven ability to integrate advanced security protocols into enterprise architecture to enhance data protection and system integrity. Deep knowledge of NIST security frameworks.
  
  

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Salary Range

$180,000—$210,000 USD
