Position Overview
The PR and Communications team leads internal and external communications for Stanley 1913. This includes company-wide announcements and all-hands meetings, managing our internal communications platform, public and media relations, speaking engagements, events, and tastemaker/influencer relations. The team comprises specialists in consumer PR, corporate and employee communications, influencer marketing, and visual design.
The internship is a 12-week commitment running from June 16th to September 5th, 2025. This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you can come into the office 2 - 3 times a week.

What You Will Do
- We are looking for a talented and curious communicator to join our team for a summer filled with contributing to a range of initiatives across public relations, corporate communications, employer branding, and more.
- As the PR and Communications Intern, you will help to execute our external and internal communications strategies. Every day will provide different opportunities, such as contributing to PR plans, writing creative briefs, sourcing influencers and reviewing content, writing responses to press queries, crafting quotes for Stanley 1913 brand executives, and more.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with eCommerce, Creative, Marketing, Social, People Experience and other teams to ensure brand consistency across channels and objectives.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation and evaluation of plans across consumer, corporate and employer communications.
- Writing and editing content, messaging, and materials for our various communications channels, including internal company communications, external-facing communications, media materials, etc.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the success of PR campaigns as related to our campaign/launch key performance indicators
- Monitor the media landscape to proactively seek opportunities to strengthen press relationships and positively impact brand coverage
- Participate in sourcing and briefing of influencers and tastemakers as they use their voices to bring the Stanley 1913 brand to life
- Own individual projects as you contribute to others, and proactively communicate workflow progress and milestones
- You have PR/communications knowledge and understanding – and you’re hungry to apply what you know and to learn more!
- A team player who can work well with others, and independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to think on your feet, embrace ambiguity and change, articulate problems and potential solutions
- You will be entering your junior or senior year of undergrad studies in the Fall of 2025, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
