As the strategic Senior National Sales Director you will lead the Sporting Goods channel for Stanley. This individual will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, driving profitable sales growth, and building and leading a team supporting this channel.

Position Overview
As the strategic Senior National Sales Director you will lead the Sporting Goods channel for Stanley. This individual will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, driving profitable sales growth, and building and leading a team supporting this channel.
What You'll Do
- Set and implement the strategy and roadmap to grow the business within the Sporting Goods channel.
- Achieve sales goals, margin targets, and sell through for the accounts across the portfolio and categories.
- Take ownership for negotiation of account terms and conditions within brand and category.
- Work closely with the Commercial Team to develop a Go-To-Market strategy for the channel
- Develop channel plan for both existing channels, and future channel opportunities within Sporting Goods
- Identify opportunities to improve brand presence in stores and online.
- Drive sell-through within our Stanley partners.
- Ensure the brand is exploring opportunities with the right partners within the identified where-to-play channels.
- Ensure accurate and timely forecasting for the channel, and drive collaboration with demand and supply planning teams
- Deliver results while building cross functional relationships and being a great teammate.
- Work cross functionally with Sales Operations team to build systems and processes to support the channel
- Positive and energetic, with a Consumer first mindset.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience presenting to small and large groups of people, consisting of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Attention to and excellence in managing details and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
- Excellent time management and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage and track a budget.
- Strong self-awareness and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum 10 years relevant Sales Leadership experience leading teams and working with the Sporting Goods channel.
- Proven track record managing complex customers
- Excellent negotiator and relationship builder.
- Excellent communicator and listener.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner
