Job Title - Student Intern - Substation
Location - Jackson, Michigan

What You Will Be Doing:

The student will work on developing an understanding of various aspects of Substation Design. Assignments may include the design of substation physical layouts, lightning protection, conduit and cable plans, grounding analysis and design, generating single and three-line schematic diagrams, panel wiring, DC schematics, control building and relay panel layouts, lighting design, and coordination with structural and civil. Will work as part of a design team; could be assigned to more than one project.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be enrolled in BSEE program at an ABET accredited University
• Coursework or equivalent experience in power system analysis
• Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards a BS in Electrical Engineering
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Local to the MI area.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without requiring sponsorship.
