The Role
As the Process Safety Engineer, you’ll lead efforts to ensure safety and compliance within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reporting to the Director of EHS, you’ll take a hands-on approach to developing and implementing robust safety programs while supporting a growing operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and managing Process Safety Management (PSM) programs to meet OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Conducting HAZOPs, PHAs, and PSSRs to identify and mitigate risks.
- Driving safety training programs and promoting a culture of proactive risk management.
- Leading incident investigations and ensuring implementation of corrective actions.
- Supporting process improvement efforts while navigating the challenges of a growing organization.

What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 5 years of experience in process safety, ideally in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
- Expertise in safety standards, such as OSHA, EPA regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to safety challenges.
- A hands-on presence on the manufacturing floor and a commitment to collaboration.
