This achievement highlights Stanley Martin’s growth and success as well as its commitment to its team members and company culture.The Graphic Design Intern will sit within the Brand & Creative team as part of the Corporate Sales & Marketing Department, which also includes Digital Marketing, Corporate Sales, Merchandising and Marketing Operations.Position Details : Support Stanley Martin Corporate, and Brand & Creative team initiativesDevelop design concepts for various communications, campaigns, promotions, and eventsExplore new ideas, creative directions, and tools to create content as we continue to evolve the Stanley Martin BrandAssist with internal communications and content updates to SharePoint siteAssist with the execution of various marketing email campaignsAssist with digital advertising updatesReview and proof collateral for brand accuracySupport other cross-functional Sales and Marketing analytics projectsPosition Standards : Able to prioritize each day based on existing and new workMotivated to learn new things with a positive outlookDemonstrates active listening, confidence, and respect when interacting verbally and through written communicationAble to clearly present ideas, concepts, and designsPosition Requirements : College student in a bachelor’s degree program for Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Creative Technologies, or similar design studyA functional and practical understanding of design theory and principlesWorking knowledge and ability to utilize design and business software, including, but not limited to the full Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365Possess a curious creativity, attention to detail, and be highly organized and process drivenAble to work efficiently under firm deadlines, both individually and within a teamMust interpret art direction and guideline documents, and freely accept feedbackGood analytical and project management skillsAble to successfully collaborate with co-workers from multiple teams40-hour work week for at least 8–12 weeks in May–AugustMartin Alloy and Stanley Halle created Stanley Martin in 1966 in the Maryland suburbs outside of Washington, D.C.
