Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.
- Assist servers by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and providing support during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings to assist guests with their selections when needed.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette for managing guest inquiries.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems. We use POS LAVU (APPLE).
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to provide outstanding guest services while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Knowledge of food service practices and standards within the hospitality industry is beneficial.
