What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Duct Technician position at Stanley Steemer?
As an Air Duct Cleaning Technician, you will provide quality air duct cleaning and related services to customers. The Air Duct Technician will assist the Air Duct Lead and coworkers to complete jobs safely, through effective communication and following NADCA STANDARDS. Previous experience is not necessary, but a mechanical background along with a general knowledge of HVAC systems is encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality air duct cleaning and related services to customers
- Follow NADCA STANDARDS as taught in Stanley Steemer's air duct training courses
- Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning
- Move and/or lift 50 lbs.
- Remove all registers and returns, and seal in preparation of the duct cleaning
- Clean and mark, if needed, all registers and returns as well as place back in the original position
- Vacuum and clean all registers
- Assist in the set-up/tear-down of equipment
- Assist in clean up of work area
- Account for and return all cleaning tools, hoses, and equipment to the truck before departure from the customer's home
- Adhere to company rules, policies, and procedures to include, but not limited to, the Employee Handbook, Safety Policy, and Air Duct Cleaning manual
