You will be responsible for managing the service process, ensuring customers receive clear communication and expert recommendations for their vehicle needs. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of automotive service processes, and an unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their service needs with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and provide knowledgeable guidance and recommendations on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain clear, ongoing communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on progress, costs, and timelines.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure work is performed efficiently and accurately, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Create and manage service orders, ensuring all necessary information is accurately documented.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage long-term loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues with empathy and professionalism, working to resolve concerns quickly and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, automotive technology, and service processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service-focused role within the automotive industry.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with customers, both in person and over the phone.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic automotive knowledge and an understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair is highly preferred.
- Experience with service software systems is a plus.
