Our client is the prime of a sole source contract. They are seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) / Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee the manage the cybersecurity posture of their program. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualified candidates will have:
-A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
-A minimum of 7 years of experience in information systems security
-In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices and regulations
-Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security authorization processes
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred
Clearance: Active TS/SCI FS Poly required
This work is 100% onsite in Ashburn, VA. It requires an active TS/SCI FS Poly government clearance. In addition to strong salaries, they provide 100% employer paid Medical and Dental Insurance as well as provide an HRA to cover deductibles. They offer 4 weeks PTO 10 federal holidays and a 3% 401K with the potential for up to 10% matching.
