The Role
In essence, this position requires a strong foundation in process improvement methodologies and a solid understanding of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining processes throughout the acquisition lifecycle, while also providing technical support and troubleshooting issues. The engineer will need to possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
What You'll Bring
BS 8 years of experience in process improvement within acquisition programs and contracts.
Proficiency in CMM/CMMI or similar process models.
Expertise in process development, documentation, and improvement.
Strong analytical skills and ability to provide feedback to management and customers.
Technical skills including UNIX and Windows system configuration, troubleshooting, and network component management.
In-depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems with familiarity re:ticketing systems, escalation processes, and best practices.
Clearance Requirements
TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration (uncleared or under-cleared applicants will not receive a response).
