The work, and what you'll do:
Join our client's dynamic team in Annapolis Junction, MD, and make a lasting impact on national security! They are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineers to contribute to the development of the cutting-edge Tactical Edge Platform. This hybrid role offers the unique opportunity to combine your passion for innovation with your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Secure & scale virtual compute/container platforms.
- Ensure developer integration & DevOps compliance.
- Conduct performance assessments & containerize key applications.
- Analyze user needs, design software, & recommend process improvements.
- Integrate software, develop data queries, & write/review documentation.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's in CS (or 4 years additional experience) and 20 years SWE experience on similar projects.
- Experience with containerization tech experience (K8s, Rancher, Docker) and Micro-services development in SOA
- Experience with Agile Development Methodologies, DevOps, & CI/CD knowledge.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
Location/telework: Work is performed in a contractor facility in Annapolis Junction, MD. Telework is approved and low/high side access is available.
