An Educator Support Assistant is responsible for providing support to teachers in the instruction of students. Main Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, developing classroom procedures, and preparing necessary materials.
- Monitor student behavior and maintain discipline in the classroom.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed and conduct short sessions on improving study skills.
- Maintain standardized records and documentation concerning student progress.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher required; or a minimum of 48 semester hours college-level coursework.
- CDL with P&S endorsement required.
- Prior experience in instruction and/or supervision of students.
